  • Missed Period

This is the most common sign of pregnancy, but not all missed periods mean a woman is pregnant, and some women may experience bleeding during pregnancy.

  • Spotting and Cramping

Bleeding can occur after the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall, this is known as implantation bleeding. Cramps, similar to menstrual cramps, can also accompany it.

  • Breast Changes

Breasts can become swollen, tender or tingly due to hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy.  Additionally, they can feel heavy or full and the nipple may darken in color.

  • Fatigue

Fatigue is a common symptom, and women can start feeling tired as early as one week after conception.

  • Nausea

Also referred to as morning sickness, nausea can occur at any time of day. It is thought to be associated with the increase of hormones.

  • Frequent Urination

Hormone levels increase, and can lead to a frequent need to urinate beginning at around 6 weeks after conception.

  • Additional Symptoms

Additional signs can include constipation, mood swings, head or back aches, dizziness and fainting.
